Colter Redding

The other night, Mommy and Daddy sat us down and gave us some news.

They told us that the baby was coming out of Mommy's tummy.

The next morning, Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital.

And out popped Colter Redding, weighing in at 9 lbs, 14 oz!

Dr. Nanda said it was the biggest baby to come out of such a small person!

Leighton and I couldn't wait to meet him!

And Lei just giggled every time she was near him.

Later he had his first bath.

Then we realized that babies sure do sleep a lot.

And a lot!

Lei quickly realized that she was an "older" sister, not necessarily a "big" sister!

And then she decided she wanted a baby of her own!

We spent so much time at the hospital, the we just had to try out the bed!

It was a while before Mommy felt well enough to hold that big boy.

And then of course he fell asleep!

"Let me just tell you people, that there is a lot more room outside than there is inside..."

"And I'm loving it!"

"My future's so bright, I've got to wear shades!"

Finally, it was time to come home from the hospital.

"Woo hoo, let's go home!"

When baby Colter got home, the welcome party was waiting for him.

Mommy, can we keep him!

Fun in the Snow!

We thought we'd head to Colorado to the snow, but the snow came to us.

Lei watched on with great enthusiasm!

We made a big snowman in the hotel parking lot.

There we go, an OU hat made the finishing touch!

I made snow angels.

"Make an angel? I AM an ANGEL!"

"Or at least that's what they think, he he he."

When we got to Colorado, Daddy went skiing.

And the next day he took me!

Let's go Daddy!

Hi Mommy, look at me!

"Can we say, SKI BUNNY!"

Look Mommy, no hands!
Daddy, a little help please!

Good thing I was wearing this helmet, cause who would have guessed that Daddy would run over me!

"Did someone say SKI BUNNY!"

Daddy, please don't let go of me... or run over me this time!

"ski bun.... ny"

I had no idea that skiing was such hard work!

At the condo, my Vegas cousins were there.

And we built a bigger snowman, this time with some facial hair.

On our last day we went sledding.

Look at me go!

Daddy, hold on tight to my sister!

Oh this does not look good!

I don't think I can watch anymore!

"Daddy, please don't smash me... I don't have a helmet on!"

"I think I'm going to be sick!"

Nice save Daddy!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

"Did someone say, SKI BUNNY!"

Leighton, that was so yesterday!

"Fine, did someone say, SKI BUNNIES!"

After a fun week, I think it's a miracle that we're still all in one piece!
