A Gingerbread Family Tradition!

Every year we make our traditional gingerbread train, and this year things got a little out of hand!

A little less force on the head banging Mommy!

Of course Leighton had to put her face in it as well.

And even Colter joined in on the fun!

Falling into Winter

In case you haven't noticed, Coltie sure is growing up.

"But he still likes me to feed him his bottle!"

Ya, but he likes it better when I give him the good stuff.

The other day, Daddy took us to see our first movie.

And then we went to the zoo.

Colter and Mommy came too.

And he got a little scared when we all growled like lions!

Don't worry, there are real animals at the zoo, but we prefer to sit on the statues.

"And then it snowed a touch and I was the only one who wanted to go play outside!"

I like to play in the snow,  but usually when there's more of it.

Enough to make snow angels.

Or build a snowman with a hot dog mouth.

Or so much that we even have to shovel the driveway!

"I prefer to shovel the snow back ON to the driveway."

 "I'm pretty sneaky like that!"

Hopefully some of it sticks around til Christmas!

Halloween!

We've been preparing for Halloween for quite some time now. I wanted to go as a super hero combination.

Leighton didn't care as long as she could wear lipstick.

Daddy thought we should wear the costumes he wore as a kid.

But in the end, I was a pirate, Lei was Snow White and Coltie was Tigger.

With Grandma and Grandpa.

Grandpa came to my school Halloween party.

"And me with my best friend Ry Ry!"

"And then we went trick-or-treating with Duck Dynasty!"

"Now I like to dress up in after Halloween sales costumes."

"And I'm even getting ready for Christmas costumes!"
